Tender and Juicy Instant Pot Pot Roast

Sear the Roast

Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode.

Add olive oil and sear the chuck roast on all sides until browned, about 3–4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

Sauté Aromatics

Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Sauté 2–3 minutes until fragrant.

Add Liquids and Seasoning

Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.

Sprinkle thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
