Ingredients

1 cup buttermilk (or regular milk with 1 tbsp vinegar)

1 cup all-purpose flour

½ cup cornstarch

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp paprika

½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Oil, for frying

For the Sauce:

¼ cup honey

3 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp sriracha (adjust to spice level)

2 tbsp brown sugar

2 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)

1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry, optional for thickening)
