Step 1: Prepare the Ribs
Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
Remove the silver membrane from the back of the ribs. Pat ribs dry.
Rub ribs with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
Step 2: Make the Honey Garlic Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar (if using), and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
Step 3: Bake the Ribs
Place ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet or in a baking dish. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
Bake for 1.5–2 hours, until the ribs are tender.
Step 4: Glaze and Broil
Remove foil, brush ribs generously with honey garlic sauce.
Broil for 3–5 minutes or until the sauce caramelizes and becomes sticky. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
Step 5: Serve
