Cream Butter & Sugar: In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add Eggs & Vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
Combine Wet & Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients alternately with milk, mixing until smooth.
Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool: Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
