Homemade Pepper & Cheese Bread

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) if baking immediately.

Roast or sauté the bell peppers until soft, then chop into small pieces.

In a large bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.

Add vegetable oil, salt, and flour gradually, mixing to form a smooth dough.

Knead the dough for 5–8 minutes until elastic.

Fold in chopped peppers, braided cheese, and cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.

Shape the dough into a loaf or individual rolls and place on a greased or lined baking sheet.

Cover and let rise 30–45 minutes until doubled in size.

Bake for 25–30 minutes (for rolls) or 35–40 minutes (for a loaf) until golden brown and cooked through.

Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
