Hearty Cabbage Soup with Smoked Sausage

Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add sliced Kielbasa and cook until lightly browned. Remove and set aside.

2. Sauté the Vegetables

In the same pot, melt butter.

Add onions and carrots, sautéing until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

3. Build the Soup

Pour in broth and bring to a simmer.

Add chopped cabbage and corn chunks. Simmer for 15–20 minutes until vegetables are tender.

4. Add the Sausage

Return browned Kielbasa to the pot. Simmer for another 5 minutes to combine flavors.

5. Season and Serve

Taste and season with salt and black pepper as needed.

Garnish with fresh parsley or dill, if desired. Serve hot.
