Farmer’s Salad with Gratinated Feta Cheese

Prepare the Salad Base:
In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper, red onion, and olives. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, season with salt and pepper, and toss lightly.

Gratinate the Feta:
Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
Place the block of feta on a small baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with oregano and black pepper.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the feta is soft and lightly golden on top.

Assemble the Salad:
Place the tossed vegetables on serving plates or a large platter. Top with the warm gratinated feta cheese.

Serve:
Serve immediately, either as a main dish with bread or as a side to grilled meats or fish.
