Remove oven racks and any loose debris.
Wipe out large crumbs with a dry cloth or paper towel.
2. Make the Baking Soda Paste
Mix ½ cup baking soda with a few tablespoons of water to form a spreadable paste.
3. Apply the Paste
Spread the paste evenly inside the oven, avoiding heating elements.
Focus on areas with grease and burnt-on food.
Let it sit for at least 12 hours, or overnight, for best results.
4. Spray with Vinegar
After the baking soda has set, fill a spray bottle with white vinegar.
Spray the vinegar over the baking soda paste. It will foam and fizz, breaking down grime.
5. Wipe Clean
Use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe away the baking soda and loosened grease.
Rinse the cloth and repeat until the oven is spotless.
6. Clean Oven Racks
While the paste works inside, soak oven racks in hot, soapy water for 30–60 minutes, then scrub and rinse.
