Prep the herbs: Rinse fresh oregano leaves. If using dried, measure about 1 tablespoon.
Boil the base: In a small pot, combine water, oregano leaves, and cloves. Bring to a boil.
Simmer: Reduce heat and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes.
Add turmeric: Stir in turmeric powder during the last 5 minutes of simmering.
Strain and serve: Pour through a fine mesh strainer into a cup. Add honey if desired. Serve warm.
