Wash fresh plantain leaves.
Place them in a jar in alternating layers with sugar until the jar is full.
Press well and seal the jar.
Wrap the jar and bury it in a shaded area for 8 weeks.
After 8 weeks, strain to obtain a dark syrup.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 year.
Dosage:
Adults: 1 tablespoon, 3 times a day
Children: 1 teaspoon, 3 times a day
