Sweet Bliss: Homemade Strawberry Syrup (Alcohol-Free)

Prepare the strawberries: Wash and hull the strawberries. If using frozen ones, let them thaw slightly. Cut larger berries into halves or quarters.

Cook the mixture: In a saucepan, combine the strawberries, sugar, and water. Place over medium heat and stir until the sugar dissolves.

Simmer: Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat and let simmer for 15–20 minutes, until the strawberries soften and release their juices.

Mash and strain: Gently mash the strawberries with a spoon or potato masher. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve or cheesecloth into a bowl or jar, pressing to extract as much liquid as possible.

Cool and store: Let the syrup cool completely, then transfer to a clean glass jar or bottle.
