Slow Cooker Flour-Dredged Pork Chops

Prep the Pork Chops: Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and paprika. Dredge each chop in flour, shaking off excess.

Optional Sear: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear pork chops 2–3 minutes per side until lightly browned. This adds flavor but isn’t required.

Layer in Slow Cooker: Place sliced onions and garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker. Lay pork chops on top.

Add Broth & Herbs: Pour chicken broth over the chops and sprinkle with thyme or rosemary if using.

Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours until pork is tender and cooked through.

Serve: Spoon some of the pan juices over the pork chops. Pair with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables.

Tips & Variations:

Thicker Gravy: Remove pork chops when done, stir remaining juices with a slurry of 1 tablespoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water, and simmer until thickened.

Add Veggies: Carrots, potatoes, or green beans can cook alongside pork chops for a one-pot meal.

Flavor Twist: Swap paprika for smoked paprika or add a splash of apple cider for a sweet-savory flavor.
