Lemon Garlic Butter Shrimp

Prep the Shrimp
Pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

Cook the Garlic
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using). Sauté for 30–60 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Cook the Shrimp
Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.

Add Lemon and Butter
Reduce heat to low. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir to coat the shrimp in the sauce and heat until the butter melts completely.

Serve
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately. Perfect over rice, pasta, or alongside a crisp salad.

Spicy Version: Add more red pepper flakes or a dash of cayenne.
