How to start the car when the battery is discharged?

Connect the jump starter to the dead battery following the instructions (red +, black −).

Turn on the jump starter and start the car.

Disconnect the jump starter once the car is running.

3. Push Start (Manual Transmission Only)

Turn the ignition to “on.”

Press the clutch and put the car in 2nd gear.

Have people push the car until it reaches a jogging speed (~5–10 mph / 8–16 km/h).

Release the clutch quickly while giving a little gas.

If successful, keep the engine running to recharge the battery.

4. Prevent Future Discharges

Turn off all electronics when the engine is off.

Replace an old battery before it dies completely.

Drive regularly to keep the battery charged.
