Symptoms: Certain buttons don’t work.
Solution:
Remove the remote cover.
Clean the rubber buttons and contact points on the circuit board with isopropyl alcohol.
Let it dry completely before reassembling.
Step 4: Check the Infrared (IR) Signal
Symptoms: Remote appears on, but device doesn’t respond.
Solution:
Use a smartphone camera: point the remote at the camera and press a button.
If the IR LED glows on the camera screen, the remote is sending a signal.
If not, the IR LED may be faulty—replacement might be necessary.
Step 5: Reset or Reprogram the Remote
Symptoms: Remote works partially or not paired with the device.
Solution:
Remove batteries, press every button once, then reinsert batteries (soft reset).
Reprogram the remote following the device manual instructions.
