Choose the Pot: Make sure your container has proper drainage to prevent root rot.
Prepare Soil: Use a light, well-draining mix. Citrus trees dislike soggy roots.
Plant the Sapling:
Place a small layer of soil at the bottom of the pot.
Position the lemon tree in the center and fill around it with soil.
Leave the top of the root ball slightly above soil level for better water drainage.
Watering:
Water thoroughly after planting.
Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.
Sunlight:
Place the pot where it receives at least 6–8 hours of sunlight daily.
Indoors, a sunny windowsill or balcony works best.
