Boric acid powder (or a commercially available roach/rats powder)
Fresh peppermint or mint leaves (for rodents)
Small containers or shallow dishes
Instructions
Identify Hotspots: Look for areas where pests are most active—kitchen corners, under sinks, behind appliances.
Prepare the Trap or Powder:
For cockroaches, sprinkle boric acid in cracks, under cabinets, and along walls.
For rats, place small containers with boric acid mixed with a little flour or peanut butter to attract them.
Add Natural Deterrent: Place peppermint leaves near rat pathways or entrances. The strong smell repels rodents.
Monitor and Remove: Check the treated areas after a few hours. Dispose of any dead pests and reapply as needed.
Clean Up: Remove food sources, seal garbage, and maintain cleanliness to prevent reinfestation.
