Cut each mozzarella stick in half to make 24 smaller sticks.
2. Set Up the Breading Station
Bowl 1: All-purpose flour
Bowl 2: Beaten eggs with milk
Bowl 3: Breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper
3. Coat the Mozzarella Sticks
Dredge each cheese stick in flour, then dip in the egg mixture.
Coat thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.
For extra crunch, repeat the egg and breadcrumb step once more.
Place breaded sticks on a tray and freeze for at least 1 hour to firm up.
4. Fry the Cheese Sticks
Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
Fry mozzarella sticks in batches for 1–2 minutes, until golden brown and crisp. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
Remove and drain on paper towels.
5. Serve
Serve hot with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
