Clove Tea: Benefits and How to Make It

4–5 whole cloves

1 cup boiling water

Optional: a slice of ginger, cinnamon stick, or a drizzle of honey for sweetness

Instructions:

Bring water to a boil.

Add the cloves (and ginger/cinnamon if using).

Cover and steep for 5–10 minutes.

Strain into a cup and sweeten with honey if desired.

Sip warm and enjoy the soothing, spicy flavor.

Tips

Drink in moderation (1 cup a day is usually enough), since cloves are strong.

For a stronger brew, lightly crush the cloves before steeping.

Pairs beautifully with black tea or green tea for extra depth.
