Classic Stuffed Bell Peppers with Savory Filling

1. Prepare the Peppers

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Slice the tops off the peppers and remove seeds/membranes.

Place in a baking dish.

2. Make the Filling

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Add onion and garlic; sauté until fragrant.

Stir in ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.

Add diced tomatoes, cooked rice, salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano. Stir well and let simmer for 5 minutes.

3. Stuff and Bake

Spoon the filling into prepared peppers, packing gently.

Top with shredded cheese.

Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.

Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
