Baked Salmon in Foil with Asparagus (Quick & Healthy)

Preheat the oven: Set to 400°F (200°C).

Prep ingredients: Rinse salmon and pat dry. Trim woody ends from asparagus.

Assemble foil packets:

Place a large sheet of foil on a baking tray.

Arrange a handful of asparagus in the center.

Lay a salmon fillet on top of the asparagus.

Drizzle with olive oil and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon.

Add minced garlic, salt, pepper, and optional herbs.

Seal the packets: Fold the foil over the salmon and asparagus, crimping edges tightly.

Bake: Place packets on a baking sheet and bake 20–25 minutes, depending on salmon thickness.

Check for doneness: Salmon should be opaque and flake easily with a fork.

Serve & enjoy: Carefully open packets and serve immediately, optionally with extra lemon slices.
