Datura, also called Jimsonweed or Devil’s Trumpet, is a flowering plant known for its large, trumpet-shaped blooms. While visually striking, every part of this plant—leaves, flowers, seeds, and roots—is highly toxic.
Why It’s Dangerous
Contains tropane alkaloids like atropine, scopolamine, and hyoscyamine.
Can cause hallucinations, delirium, rapid heartbeat, seizures, and death if ingested.
Even touching or inhaling pollen may pose mild risk to sensitive individuals.
