Use this easy acronym to spot a stroke:
Face: Ask the person to smile. Does one side droop?
Arms: Ask them to raise both arms. Does one drift downward?
Speech: Ask them to repeat a simple sentence. Is it slurred or strange?
Time: If you see any of these signs, call emergency services immediately.
Important Note
Stroke is a medical emergency. The faster treatment begins, the better the outcome. Even if symptoms improve, seek urgent care — it could be a transient ischemic attack (TIA), which is a warning sign of a future stroke.
